Curse of the changing white balance, how to stop the colour shift mid footage

How many times have you capture a great bit of footage, but cant get an easy white balance in editing because the colour balance shifts mid footage?

The answer to solving this problem is setting your White Balance settings to a single colour temperature. If you use lights with your camera, paired with a dive handle like the Quadball, the solution is simple, effective and guaranteed to be robust.

The first step is to look up the colour temperature (K) of your video lights, from here simply match up your action cameras white balance setting and you are set to go.

If matched up closely, anything in range of your lights will now be correctly coloured AND your camera will no longer attempt to automatically adjust the colours as you pan around filming objects close and far.
